“Spiritual Transformation”

Romans 8:11 “And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.” (NIV)

Christians today hunger to experience the living presence of God in their lives. This verse gives the secret to experiencing the power and presence of Christ in you.

The Spirit of the living God lives in you to produce life and abundance. John 10:10 says, “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.”

God saved you for eternity, but He also saved you to be a vessel for the Spirit to proclaim His life through you. Not experiencing God’s power and presence might indicate areas of your life that you are not submitting to Christ’s Lordship.

Romans 8:5, 13-14 illustrates the importance of being controlled by the Spirit – “Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

The question is not whether your God is able to work in you, but whether you are willing to submit to the Holy Spirit so that He can live His life through you?

Draw closer to God in relationship in order to allow the Holy Spirit to fully manifest “life” in you. The intimacy of your relationship with Christ will empower you to submit to Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 proclaims, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” You are a new creation through whom God wants to fully express His life in and through you!

Psalm 119:32 “I run in the path of Your commands, for You have set my heart free.” (NIV)
